CNC Centers for Plate punching and Second-hand Punching Machines

How does a Punch Center or Punching Machine work?

Whether it be a die-cutting machine or a punching machine, both are used to machine metal. If you need to process thin-walled parts these machines are particularly good for this specific job. The end products of the material are punched out. The materials that can be worked on include metal sheets and thin metal base materials.

There are different types of punching machines dependent on what you want to do with the punching machine. Many different kinds of punching machines are available, including manual punching machines, pneumatic punching machines, and compressed air punching machines. Punch shearing machines and punching machines also have variations in sizes.

If you need to process thick metal sheets, hydraulic punching machines are also available.

What are the different types of Punching Machines?

Punching machines: During the punching, a shape is cut or printed from the material with a die. A simple type of punch press is a hole punch. If you are using a CNC punching centre, then you will need a CNC punching machine.

Punching machines: If you need a certain shape from a material then a shape must be punched out of the plate.

Punch-cutting machines: Usually the material will have to be cut before the punching occurs. With the punch-cutting machine, this is combined into one machine.

Punch nibbling machine: This machine is controlled via a computer (CNC), it is still a punching machine, however.

In what application are you able to use a Die-cutting Machine or a Punching Machine?

If you want to create different types of contours or hole in plates, then you would use either a punching machine or a die-cutting machine.

How to operate a Punching Machine or a Punch Shearing Machine?

Previously, manual punching machines were the industry standard. People still use these types of machines; however, automatic machines are being used more and more. There are also loading robots for manual punching machines.

Who is able to operate Die-cutting Machines or Punching Machines?

Protective clothing must be worn when using these machines as well as protective equipment to ensure the health and safety of the operator. These machines are loud so PPE must be worn to protect the hearing of the user. Repairs, maintenance, and installation must only be done by qualified operators.
