- HIW Ironworkers are powerful machine tools for flat, bar and sectional steel processsing.
Quick, clean coping/notching with the large support and guide table. Work using the coping as well as the notching tool is possible with no need for modifications. The two stops can be positioned wherever desired in the table's grooves.
In developing MUBEA machines, we attach particular importance to the safety of the operating staff. The same applies to the coper/notcher of the HIW model line.
HIW ironworkers are equipped with an automatic coping stroke adjustment, allowing the stroke travel to be limited to the absolute minimum. This eliminates, among other things, the danger of coping into the upright leg of angle steel.
Another feature of the automatic stroke adjustment is that it always guides the coper's top knife in the bottom knife during coping operations. Thus, there is no risk on HIW ironworkers of feeding the stock too far into the coper, which would endanger the operator.
