Featuring manual or automatic wheelhead infeed and hydraulic-mechanical table traverse, the BU 25 H grinder has been designed for the traverse and plunge-cut grinding of both external and internal rotating cylindrical and conical surfaces, but can be also used for face grinding.
Workpieces can be clamped between fixed centres, in a chuck for live spindle grinding in chuck collets or in a permanent magnetic chuck of the workhead. For the grinding of tapers, the workhead, the wheelhead and the upper table can be swivelled.
