Operating Principle:
The rear sheet is placed on the magnetic plate. It is then moved to the stops. By pressing the foot pedal, the magnetic plates are activated.
The front sheet is placed on the magnetic plate. It is pushed against the rear sheet and the magnetic plate is activated.
The maximum gap must be 0.3 mm.
Between the pressure rollers and the workpiece, a foil strip runs on both sides. The foil is automatically fed from a spool.
The foil provides:
- high current concentration
- reduced heat dissipation
- welding of the joint edges and sheet surface
Material Strength:
- at least equal to that of the base material
Post-treatment:
- material distortion remains within small limits and can be neglected in most applications
Corrosion Resistance:
- with the correct choice of foil material, the corrosion resistance of surface-treated materials is largely maintained
