The flange machine starts the bending process by neatly placing the edge of the flange head between two dies: one die is attached to the added gearbox and the other is free-standing at the bottom. When the spindle rotates, the turning process starts and hydraulic cylinder number 3 is rotated upwards. The edges of the curve are bent by the linear movement of hydraulic cylinders 1 and 2. This process is repeated two or more times until the temporal values for thickness, depth, and diameter are reached.
